My main research interests are in the statistical theory of chaos and nonlinear dynamics of complex systems.
I am closely collaborating with the Nonlinear Dynamics Group, especially with Michael Rosenblum.
A lot of work has been supported (until 2010) by the DFG Collaborative Research Center SFB 555 Complex Nonlinear Processes
Now we participate in the DFG Research Group 868 Mind and Brain Dynamics
